

Chapter 3 Part 1 For the rest of the day I stayed busy and slowly the fear from that morning left my mind. I had convinced myself that it was just because of the dream I had in the car. So I claimed the room with the balcony as mine. That day I had gotten most of my furniture into my new room. So that night I laid in bed and tried to sleep. I was still a little uneasy but not enough to keep me awake. As the exhaustion set in I felt myself falling asleep. Once again, I was aware of lying on a towel at a beach. Chapter 2 As I got out of the car I looked up at my new home. It seemed as if it had come straight from the Victorian era. With two stories, it towered above the rest of the ground-floor houses on the street. Trimming wrapped around the entire house and there was a big porch in the front. Although it needed a paint-job I could already feel myself falling in love with it. Wow, I breathed This is a really cool house mom. My mother just nodded, not even taking the time to glance at me. Chapter 1The day I moved really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had expected it to be life-shattering, earth moving. I thought it would feel like somthing that would change my life for ever. But instead it was more like I was going on a road trip, only this time it was just mom and me. You see, my parents were getting a divorce. My mom was getting custody of me and we were moving out of my dad's house. We weren't moving that far away, and although many people said it was better to stay closer, I disagreed.
